
Making hot and sour soup sounds intimidating at first; it has lots of complex flavors and one might expect that it simmers for hours and that there are all sorts of ways to screw it up. In truth, it’s a pretty simple dish that comes together surprisingly quickly and uses almost no specialty ingredients. Most of the time to make it goes into prepping the tofu, meat and vegetables; the assembly and cooking itself takes only about ten minutes.
