PIco de Gallo, also known as “salsa fresca,” is basically really chunky salsa. It’s great with tortilla chips or crackers, and as a topping for tacos and variety of other Hispanic dishes. The nice part about making your own is that you get to customize the flavors – and especially the spiciness.
It’s an easy recipe that requires just a few ingredients, all of which are available at your neighborhood grocery store. Plus, there’s no cooking.
Recipe here.
Enjoy,
Kevin
